We are fundamentally committed to using sustainable and recycled materials wherever possible, and this philosophy is at the core of our design and manufacturing process.
For many of our bench collections, the primary material is high-density polyethylene (HDPE) lumber made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastics. Think of milk jugs, detergent bottles, and other household containers that get a powerful second life. This material diverts waste from landfills and oceans, requires no painting or staining (it's color-through), and is incredibly durable against rot, insects, and harsh weather. It's a perfect example of the circular economy in action.
For our wooden benches, we source Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified timber or use reclaimed wood. FSC certification ensures the wood comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. When we use metal components, such as frames or fittings, we prioritize recycled content and ensure they are fully recyclable at the end of the product's long life.
