Great question! It really depends on the specific bench model you're looking at, but here’s how most of our outdoor benches work.
For the majority of our benches, they come as "ready to assemble" kits. That means they’re not fully put together when they arrive, but the process is much simpler than you might think. You’ll usually need a few basic tools like a Phillips head screwdriver, a hex key (often included), and sometimes a rubber mallet. We include all the hardware and clear step-by-step instructions, so even if you're not super handy, you can usually have it done in 20 to 30 minutes.
Now, if you absolutely don’t want to lift a screwdriver at all, we do offer a few select models that come fully pre-assembled, especially smaller wooden benches or decorative ones. But those are less common and often cost a bit more due to shipping size. When you browse our product pages online, look for the “assembly required” tag or the “fully assembled” note in the description—I always flag it clearly.
In short: most of our benches need some simple assembly with tools, but it’s straightforward. If you’d rather skip the tools, let me know which style you like, and I’ll check if we have a pre-assembled option!
