Great question—and honestly, it’s one of the first things I’d ask too if I were buying outdoor furniture that’s supposed to last.
The short answer is: yes, our park benches come with a clear warranty that covers paint chipping specifically during the first year. But let me break that down so you know exactly what we’re promising—and what you should expect.
First off, we use a heavy-duty powder-coating system on all our metal benches. That’s not the same as standard spray paint. Powder coating is baked onto the metal in a controlled high-temperature process, which creates a much tougher, more flexible finish. It resists peeling, fading, and chipping far better than conventional liquid paint.
That said, no outdoor coating is completely indestructible. If the bench is installed in an area where it gets kicked, scraped by equipment, or hit by flying debris, the coating can chip. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects—that is, if the paint flakes off on its own due to poor adhesion or material failure within 12 months, we’ll refinish or replace the bench at no cost to you. Accidental damage or abuse, such as being scratched by sharp objects or hit by a lawnmower, isn’t covered—but that’s pretty standard across the industry.
What we also do to help you avoid chipping in the first place: we add a UV-resistant topcoat and design our benches with rounded edges rather than sharp corners, which are more prone to impact damage. We also provide clear installation and maintenance guidelines—like keeping the bench away from harsh chemical sprayers and not using abrasive cleaners—to extend the life of the finish.
In short, you can buy with confidence: if the paint chips from normal use within the first year, we’ve got your back. If you’d like a copy of the exact warranty terms, I’m happy to send them over—just let me know.
