Minimum or Maximum Text Length?
We recommend keeping the engraved text between 1 and 3 lines — for example: “In Honor of Jane Doe” / “Community Volunteer 2000–2024” / “Thank You for Your Support.” Longer tributes can be accommodated, but shorter text is more readable from a distance and ages better on the bench surface.
Durability of the Engraving
Our engraving process is designed to last. For metal components, we use deep acid etching or CNC engraving that will not fade, peel, or weather away. For wood slats, we apply UV-resistant laser engraving followed by a clear sealer. We also offer optional bronze plaques that can be bolted to the bench for a more classic look.
