Great question! For most of our outdoor benches, we do not include pre-drilled holes for bolting down as a standard feature. Why? Because we want to give you the flexibility to choose how and where you install them—whether on concrete, decking, or grass. However, the benches are designed with sturdy, flat mounting feet that make it really easy for you to drill your own holes. If you’d like to secure the bench for extra safety or stability (especially in windy areas or public spaces), here’s what I’d recommend:
1. Position the bench exactly where you want it.
2. Mark the spots through the existing holes in the mounting feet, or pencil in where you’d like to drill.
3. Drill pilot holes into the ground material (use a masonry bit for concrete or a wood bit for decking).
4. Install anchor bolts or heavy-duty screws (not included) and tighten the bench down.
