When you ask whether our street benches are made locally or imported from overseas, I’m happy to give you a straight answer. The vast majority of our street benches are produced right here, locally. We partner with regional manufacturers who use sustainably sourced materials—often within a 100-mile radius of our distribution centers.
Why local? It’s not just about supporting local economies (though that’s a big plus). Local production gives us tighter quality control, faster delivery times, and the ability to customize designs more easily. We know exactly how each bench is built, from the welding to the final sealant, because we can visit the workshops regularly.
However, I won’t pretend we never import. For very specific designs—like minimalist European-style benches with unique curves—we do occasionally source a small percentage from overseas partners who specialize in those forms. But even then, we require them to meet our exacting environmental and labor standards.
So, to be clear: When you choose our benches, you’re almost certainly getting a locally made product. Every bench has a small “Made in [Your Region]” stamp on the underside, because we believe in full transparency. If you ever receive an imported one (which is rare), the packaging will clearly state the country of origin.
In short: we take pride in local craftsmanship, but we’re honest about the exceptions. That’s how we build trust—one bench at a time.
