Here’s the honest answer: yes, many of our outdoor benches do come with a warranty that covers structural warping—but not all benches are created equal, so the specifics depend on the material and model you choose.
For our premium teak and ipe wood benches, we offer a 5-year guarantee against warping, splitting, or significant weather-related deformation. These hardwoods are naturally dense and oily, which gives them a built-in moisture resistance that most softwoods simply don’t have. We kiln-dry and seal each piece before assembly to further minimize seasonal movement.
For our cedar and eucalyptus lines, the warranty typically covers warping for 2 to 3 years. While these are beautiful, lightweight woods that weather gracefully, they do tend to expand and contract more with moisture. We recommend applying a water-repellent sealant annually to keep them stable.
Now, if you’re looking at our powder-coated aluminum or steel benches, you’ll be glad to know they won’t warp at all—rain isn’t a problem for metal, though you should still check the warranty on paint finish and rust resistance (usually 5 to 10 years).
