Don’t over-tighten—you can crack the concrete around the hole.
For epoxy anchors: inject the epoxy starting from the bottom of the hole, fill about two-thirds full, then slowly twist the threaded rod in. Let it cure without any movement for the full time on the tube (usually 24 hours at 70°F, longer if cold). Then set the bench, install washers and nuts, and torque.
What most people miss
Even with a 400‑lb bench, wind load and dynamic force can shift things over time. That’s why we include a thin closed-cell foam isolation gasket for under the feet—it stops water from pooling around the anchors and prevents unsightly rust marks bleeding onto your nice new concrete pad.
