Great question—and one we hear a lot from parks departments, schools, and property managers. The short answer is yes, our street benches include anti-theft hardware as standard, not as an afterthought or a hidden add-on.
Every commercial outdoor bench we ship comes with tamper-resistant security bolts and heavy-gauge steel mounting brackets designed to deter casual theft and vandalism. These are not the standard Phillips-head screws you would find at a local hardware store. They require a special driver bit, which makes them much harder for someone to remove quickly and quietly.
That said, the exact hardware included can vary slightly depending on the bench model and where you plan to install it. Our standard kits cover the most common scenarios, including concrete pads, asphalt paths, and compacted gravel bases. If you are mounting onto a less typical surface like pavers, decking, or a custom concrete plinth, we will usually recommend a surface-specific anchor kit. In most cases that is an optional extra because it involves specialized fasteners or longer bolts, but we always quote those clearly before you order.
For high-theft areas, we also offer a heavy-duty anti-theft upgrade package. This includes extra-thick security brackets, breakaway bolt heads, and optional cable anchors. It is an additional cost, but it is the best option if your benches have disappeared before or if the site is unmonitored overnight.
