You likely saw a commercial outdoor bench with a painted or stainless steel divider in the middle, and that’s exactly the type we supply for streetscapes, transit stops, plazas, and parks. Our standard metal park bench frames can be ordered with one, two, or three intermediate armrests. You can choose spacing, armrest material, and whether you want a backless bench or a full-back design. Frames are usually galvanized steel with a powder-coated finish, while seat slats come in hardwood, thermal wood, or recycled plastic lumber. The center armrest breaks up the long flat surface so people can sit comfortably in defined spaces, but they cannot easily lie down. That makes the bench a practical choice if you are managing a storefront, park, terminal, or streetscape where overnight sleeping or extended lounging creates maintenance issues. We can customize the overall length—common sizes are 60, 72, and 84 inches—as well as armrest count, color, and mounting style. For concrete pads, we recommend bolt-down legs or surface-mounted plates; for landscaped areas, in-ground mounting is also available. All hardware is tamper-resistant, and finishes are UV-stable and weather-resistant for heavy public use.
