If you're ordering a fully custom-colored urban bench, the realistic turnaround is usually 3–4 weeks after you approve the color sample and we confirm the order. If the color is already in our standard powder coat library, it often ships in 2–3 weeks. Large batches or special finishes can stretch to 4–6 weeks.
The reason custom color adds time isn't the steel fabrication—it's the powder coating. For a custom Pantone or RAL match, we mix the powder, spray a test sample, cure it, and check it under natural and artificial light before we coat your full order. That protects you from getting a bench that looks different from the swatch on your screen.
If you request a physical sample before production, add 3–5 business days for sample prep and shipping. I usually recommend this for bold colors, metallics, textured finishes, or when the bench needs to match existing site furniture.
Quantity matters too. A single bench or small run is faster; 50+ units or multiple color lines need more spraying and curing time. Transit is separate, so add freight time based on your location.
To get a firm date, send the color code, quantity, and delivery zip code. We can tell you whether the color is stock or custom and give you a ship date instead of a generic range.
