Yes — absolutely. Every outdoor bench we offer is treated or engineered to resist UV fading. For powder-coated metal frames and slats, we apply a UV-stabilized polyester or super-durable powder coat after pretreatment. This cured finish acts like a sunscreen for the bench, protecting the color from harsh sunlight, salt air, and everyday weather.
For recycled plastic street benches, the UV resistance goes even deeper. We use boards molded with UV-inhibited pigments, so the color runs through the full material instead of sitting only on the surface. That means scratches, wear, and weathering won’t quickly expose a faded underlayer.
We also run accelerated UV exposure tests on our standard colors, which helps us spot early fading before a bench ever goes into production. While no outdoor product stays perfectly unchanged forever, these treatments make a visible difference: the bench keeps its color longer, looks cleaner, and needs less repainting or replacement. If you’re installing in high-altitude, desert, or coastal sun, we still recommend choosing lighter colors and doing occasional cleaning to reduce heat and sun stress.
