Great question — and yes, some of our urban benches can be built with hidden storage compartments, but only when it makes sense for the site. We don’t add fake drawers to every bench. Instead, we hide weather-sealed storage under the seat or behind the side panels so the bench keeps a clean, public-friendly look.
The compartments are usually used for maintenance tools, event supplies, or secure package drop-offs in managed spaces. Each unit is made from galvanized steel or aluminum, has drainage channels, and can be locked with standard street-furniture keys. If you need custom sizing, soft-close lids, or a finish that matches existing street furniture, we can adapt the design. So yes — if hidden storage is a priority, we can absolutely build it for you.
