For most adult-focused locations, we use a standard seat height of about 17 to 18 inches from the ground to the top of the seat surface. For playgrounds, schoolyards, and children’s gardens, we offer lower options around 12 to 14 inches with a slightly reduced seat depth, which helps smaller legs bend naturally and keeps feet from dangling.
We also offer mixed-height or companion bench designs. These give you a higher adult seat next to a lower child seat in one frame, which is popular for inclusive playgrounds, outdoor reading areas, and multi-generational community spaces. If accessibility is a concern, we can adjust the height, add armrests, or create a transfer-friendly end section.
