Most of our benches come with pre-drilled mounting feet sized for 3/8-inch or 1/2-inch anchor bolts. That lines up with the most common wedge anchors, sleeve anchors, and concrete expansion anchors sold at places like Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Ace Hardware. If your bench has a flat steel foot plate or mounting bracket, standard 3/8-inch by 3-inch or 1/2-inch by 3.5-inch anchors usually fit without any modification.
That being said, I always recommend measuring the actual hole diameter and spacing on your bench before buying anchors. Some commercial-grade or recycled plastic benches have larger footplates and may require 5/8-inch hardware. In that case, a standard residential anchor kit might be too small, but most hardware stores still carry larger anchors that will work.
You’ll also want to think about the surface. If you’re anchoring into solid concrete, expansion anchors or epoxy-set anchors work great. For pavers, brick, or loose stone, standard anchors don’t grip as well and you may need a different mounting approach.
