Great question—this is one of the most common things people ask when planning a streetscape, campus, or patio area.
No, not all of our street benches are bolted down. We offer several movable and semi-movable options to fit different needs. If you want a bench that can be repositioned seasonally, for events, or just to test a layout, our freestanding benches are a great starting point. They have a stable, weighted base and optional non-slip rubber feet, so they sit securely during normal use but can still be moved by two people without special tools.
For even easier mobility, we offer lightweight aluminum benches and a few models with built-in wheels or a tilt-and-roll design. These are popular for farmers markets, plazas, and mixed-use developments where the seating layout changes often.
That said, “easy to move” means different things in different settings. A bench that staff can relocate for a morning market is very different from a bench that needs to resist theft, high wind, or heavy public use. In those situations, we recommend a bolt-down or surface-mount kit. Most of our bench frames are compatible with anchor kits, so you can start portable and bolt them down later if conditions change.
If you share where the bench will live and how often you plan to move it, I can recommend the best frame, material, and anchoring setup. We have movable street benches in stock, and many can ship with both freestanding feet and bolt-down hardware.
