Yes, we do sell replacement slats for many older outdoor bench models, but availability depends on the brand, age, and measurements. If the exact slat isn’t available, you still usually don’t have to buy a whole new bench.
First, check the frame. If the metal or wood frame is still solid, replacing slats is often a straightforward weekend fix. If the frame is cracked, badly rusted, or wobbling, a new bench may be the safer long-term option.
Next, measure your existing slats carefully. You’ll want the length, width, thickness, and the distance between the screw holes. It also helps to count how many slats you need and note the material — teak, acacia, cedar, pine, composite, or aluminum.
If we carry an exact replacement slat for your model, that’s the easiest route. If not, you can look for universal replacement bench slats online or at your local hardware store. Many are sold as individual slats or in sets and can be trimmed or drilled to fit. For wooden benches, cedar, teak, and pressure-treated pine are good outdoor options. Composite or aluminum slats are lower-maintenance and won’t rot.
When installing, use stainless steel or coated deck screws to prevent rust. Pre-drill holes in wood to avoid splitting, and apply an outdoor sealant, stain, or paint if the slats are unfinished. Even if only one or two slats are cracked, you can replace just those pieces — just match the material and thickness as closely as possible.
