Great question—this is one of the first things smart buyers ask before investing in outdoor furniture. Our wooden park benches are backed by a 10-year limited warranty on structural components, including the frame, joints, and hardware. For natural wood parts like slats and armrests, we cover manufacturing defects for one full year from the date of delivery. Do we cover warping and cracking? Here’s the honest answer. Because solid wood is a natural material, it will move slightly with changes in humidity and temperature. Small surface checks, hairline cracks, or minor cupping that do not affect the bench’s strength or safety are considered normal wood behavior and are not covered under the warranty. However, significant warping, deep structural cracks, or twisting that compromises the bench’s stability—or makes it unsafe to sit on—is covered within the warranty period. If your bench develops a defect that affects its structural integrity, we will repair or replace the affected parts at our discretion. To make a claim, send us clear photos showing the issue along with your order number, and our support team will walk you through the next steps. A few quick maintenance tips can also help minimize warping and cracking: keep the bench slightly elevated so water doesn’t pool around the feet, tighten hardware seasonally, and apply a quality wood sealer or exterior oil once a year if you want to slow down surface checking. That said, a well-built park bench should never feel like a maintenance burden—ours are kiln-dried and sealed to reduce movement before they ever reach your site.
