Great question—I get this a lot from people working with balconies, side yards, and compact courtyards. The smallest urban bench we offer for a tiny garden is our Mini Metro Bench. I think of it as a true space-saving outdoor bench rather than a scaled-down toy. The seat fits one adult comfortably, or two small kids, and it works especially well as a mini balcony bench or a quiet perch beside a narrow path. Because the frame is powder-coated galvanized steel and the seat is FSC-certified hardwood, it handles rain, sun, and everyday urban use without needing much upkeep.
When customers ask if a 24-inch compact bench will feel too small, I usually tell them to measure both the bench zone and the walking route. In a 36-inch-wide balcony, this bench leaves about 12 inches of clear passage, which is tight but workable if you keep the rest of the space simple. In a courtyard corner or pocket garden, it reads more like a modern tiny garden bench—especially in a light frame color or natural wood finish.
