Absolutely—yes, we offer customization for urban benches, including adding a plaque and changing the color. In fact, customization is one of the most common requests we receive from city planners, landscape architects, parks departments, schools, and private clients.
Adding a plaque is a great way to recognize a donor, commemorate a loved one, or display a public message or brand. We typically produce plaques in engraved stainless steel, brass, bronze, or high-pressure laminate. You can include custom text, dates, logos, or simple artwork, and we will help you choose the right size, mounting position, and finish so the plaque stays legible and secure outdoors for years.
Changing the color is just as easy. Steel and aluminum benches can be powder-coated in a wide range of RAL colors—from classic black, green, or bronze to brighter shades like blue, red, or yellow. Timber benches can be stained or painted in natural wood tones or custom colors, and recycled plastic benches are available in many standard color palettes. If you need a specific brand color, we can often match it.
Beyond plaques and color, we can also adjust overall dimensions, select different materials, add armrests, backrests, or mounting plates, and incorporate features like solar charging or bike rails. The process usually starts with a base model, then we tailor it to your site, budget, and maintenance requirements. Just let us know the quantity, preferred material, and any design references, and we will send you options with drawings or samples.
Short answer: yes, we love building benches that feel personal and fit the surrounding streetscape. Whether you need one memorial bench or a full streetscape program, we can help with customization.
