Great question — yes, we do offer a warranty on the powder coating for our street benches. I know this matters because outdoor furniture takes a beating from sun, rain, salt air, and everyday use, so the finish needs to hold up.
For our standard powder coated street benches, the coating itself is covered by a 5-year limited warranty against peeling, cracking, and excessive fading under normal outdoor conditions. That means if the finish starts to lift or loses its color far beyond what you would expect from normal weathering, we will repair or replace the affected parts at our discretion.
A few things to keep in mind: the warranty does not cover scratches, chips, graffiti, vandalism, or damage from harsh chemicals, pressure washing at very close range, or abrasive cleaners. It also doesn’t cover normal wear and tear over time, especially in high-traffic areas or coastal environments where salt exposure can be tougher on finishes. Surface rust caused by deep scratches that go through the coating is also excluded.
If you want the longest life from the powder coating, a quick rinse with mild soap and water a few times a year is usually enough. Avoid metal brushes or strong solvents, and touch up any deep scratches promptly with a matching paint pen to keep moisture away from the metal underneath.
If you have a specific bench model or project in mind, let me know and I can send over the exact warranty sheet and finish options. We also offer upgraded marine-grade powder coating for coastal or high-humidity locations if you need extra protection.
