Short answer: yes, we do sell replacement slats for most of our park benches, so you usually do not have to buy a whole new unit. If your bench frame is still solid and the hardware is in good shape, replacing only the slats is usually the most affordable and practical fix.
We offer replacement slats in several lengths, wood types, and finishes, including cedar, pressure-treated pine, and recycled plastic lumber. Before you order, measure the length and width of one existing slat and count how many slats you need. It also helps to check the center-to-center hole spacing if your bench uses bolts through the slats. That detail makes sure the new slats line up with the existing frame holes.
If your bench is one of our standard 4-foot, 5-foot, or 6-foot models, you can find ready-to-ship replacement slat sets on our website. For older, custom, or discontinued benches, we often recommend our universal replacement slats, which can be cut to length on site. You may need to drill a few new holes, but the result is a bench that looks nearly new without the cost of replacing the entire unit.
When a full replacement is the better option: if the metal frame is cracked, heavily rusted, or bent, new slats will not fix structural problems. In that case, buying a complete bench is safer and often cheaper than replacing slats plus repairing the frame. But if the frame is fine and only the slats are cracked, warped, or weathered, replacement slats are the way to go.
To order, have your bench model number ready if possible, along with the slat length, width, thickness, and the number of slats. If you are not sure which set fits, contact our support team with a photo of your bench and a measurement of one slat. We can usually match it quickly.
So in most cases, you do not have to buy a whole new park bench. Replacement slats are available, budget-friendly, and easier to install than most people expect.
