Great question—and one we get a lot. For most of our outdoor benches, the ground-anchoring kit is sold separately rather than included in the standard box. The bench itself ships with all the assembly hardware you need: bolts, washers, brackets, and any Allen or hex keys required to put the pieces together. What is typically not included is the hardware that secures the bench to the ground.
Why? Because installation surfaces vary widely. A concrete patio needs different anchors than a paver walkway, a wooden deck, or compacted soil. By offering ground-anchoring kits separately, we let you choose the right anchor type and size for your specific site instead of paying for a one-size-fits-all kit that may not work. It also keeps the base price of the bench lower for customers who do not need anchoring.
That said, a few of our commercial-grade and heavy-duty outdoor benches do include basic surface-mount anchors or pre-drilled feet. You can check the 'Included Hardware' section on the product page for your specific model. If you see 'ground anchors not included,' you can add a compatible kit at checkout.
If you plan to place the bench in a public area, a high-wind location, or anywhere theft or movement is a concern, I highly recommend purchasing a ground-anchoring kit. It improves stability, safety, and security. If you tell me where you are installing the bench—concrete, pavers, decking, or soil—I can point you to the right anchoring kit.
