Absolutely—yes, you can, and I’m glad you asked. Choosing an outdoor bench color from a website photo is never easy, so we do offer sample swatches of the paint and powder coat finishes used on our outdoor benches. These are not printed paper samples. They are small, hand-finished metal or coated card swatches that show the actual color, sheen, and subtle texture you can expect from the bench.
Most of our standard finishes are available as swatches, including popular colors like matte black, forest green, slate gray, bronze, and warm white. If you are looking at a custom or less common color, we can usually arrange a sample for that as well, though it may take a little longer to prepare.
To request a sample swatch, go to the product page for the bench you are considering and use the “Request a Sample” button, or simply contact our team with the bench model and the color name you want. We will send the swatch out to you. In many regions we offer free standard shipping on swatches. For international requests, there may be a small postage fee, but we will always confirm that before anything is shipped.
I recommend ordering two or three swatches at once if you are torn between colors. Place them next to your deck, fence, patio pavers, or exterior wall, and look at them at different times of day. Outdoor light changes the way paint colors read, and a shade that looks perfect in morning sun can look quite different in late afternoon shadow. The swatch also gives you a realistic feel for the durability of the finish. Our outdoor bench paints are selected to resist UV fading, light scratching, and moisture, so the sample is a good preview of how the bench will sit in your space.
If the exact color you need is not listed, or you are trying to match an existing railing, gate, or trim, let us know. We can check our finish library and tell you whether a close match is available. For trade customers or larger bulk orders, we can sometimes provide a larger test panel as well.
In short: yes, sample swatches are available, easy to request, and well worth doing before you buy. If you tell me the bench model and color you have in mind, I can point you to the right swatch or start the request for you.
