We take the safe delivery of our outdoor benches very seriously. That's why we've developed a robust, multi-layered packaging system designed to withstand the rigors of cross-country and even international shipping.
For all our benches, the process begins with a thorough cleaning and a protective wrap. We then strategically place high-density foam corner guards on all vulnerable edges and legs to prevent impact damage during transit. The entire bench is then wrapped in a heavy-duty, weather-resistant plastic to shield it from moisture, dust, and minor abrasions.
For standard domestic shipments, the wrapped bench is securely mounted to a custom-sized, corrugated cardboard pallet. This prevents movement and allows for easy forklift handling. For our premium lines and all international shipments, we go a step further by using custom-built, plywood crates. The bench is suspended within the crate using foam blocks and strapping, ensuring it never touches the wooden walls directly. This "suspended crate" method is the gold standard for protecting against severe impacts and mishandling.
