Thank you for your important question about the sustainability of our timber sourcing. We take this matter very seriously and are proud of our commitment to environmental responsibility.
The wood for our park benches comes exclusively from forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), ensuring that every tree harvested is replaced. We work with suppliers who practice selective logging rather than clear-cutting, which helps maintain forest ecosystems and biodiversity. Our timber journey is fully traceable from forest to finished bench.
Beyond sourcing, we maximize every log by utilizing approximately 98% of each tree through efficient manufacturing processes. The remaining wood scraps are repurposed for smaller products or converted into biomass energy. Our benches are treated with natural, non-toxic preservatives to ensure longevity without harming the environment.
We believe that creating beautiful, durable outdoor furniture shouldn't come at the expense of our forests. That's why we're committed to continuous improvement in our sustainability practices and transparent about our sourcing methods. Our benches are built to last decades, reducing the need for frequent replacement and further conserving resources.
