Ensuring the safety and structural integrity of our park benches is a multi-step process we take very seriously. It begins with design and material selection. We use durable, weather-resistant materials like powder-coated steel for frames and thick, sustainably sourced hardwood or recycled plastic for slats. All joints are securely welded or bolted, not simply screwed.
Before installation, we prepare a stable and level foundation, typically using concrete footings to prevent shifting or tipping. Each bench is then securely anchored to this foundation.
Our commitment doesn't end with installation. We implement a scheduled maintenance program. This includes regular visual inspections for cracks, rust, loose components, or vandalism. More thorough structural checks are conducted annually or bi-annually. Any identified issue, from a loose bolt to a cracked plank, is addressed immediately.
We also design our benches with public safety in mind, featuring smooth, rounded edges and avoiding potential pinch points. By combining robust materials, professional installation, and proactive maintenance, we ensure our benches remain safe, secure, and comfortable for years of public use.
