Thank you for your important question about the sustainability of our park bench materials. It's a topic we are deeply passionate about. The short answer is yes, we are absolutely committed to sourcing materials sustainably. This commitment is at the core of our product philosophy.
We primarily use two types of materials, both chosen for their environmental credentials. First, our wooden benches are crafted from timber sourced from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified forests. This certification guarantees that the wood comes from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social, and economic benefits. Second, our plastic benches are made from 100% post-consumer recycled high-density polyethylene (HDPE). This material typically comes from recycled milk jugs and detergent bottles, diverting significant waste from landfills and giving it a new, long-lasting life in our communities.
Our manufacturing process is designed to minimize waste, and we partner with suppliers who share our values for ethical and transparent sourcing. We believe that creating durable, beautiful, and comfortable public seating should not come at the expense of our planet. Choosing our benches means investing in green urban infrastructure that supports both community well-being and environmental stewardship for years to come.
