When you’re investing in public benches—whether for a park, transit stop, or corporate plaza—the warranty is more than just fine print. It’s the manufacturer’s promise that this piece of outdoor furniture will stand up to weather, wear, and daily use. So, let’s talk about what you can really expect.
Most of our public benches come with a limited lifetime warranty on the framework and welds, covering any manufacturing defects in material or workmanship. That means if a weld cracks or the steel frame bows under normal use, we’ve got you covered. For the slats—whether they’re wood, recycled plastic, or aluminum—the warranty typically ranges from 5 to 15 years, depending on the material. Recycled plastic, for example, often carries a 15-year warranty against fading, splitting, or peeling, while powder-coated steel frames get a 5-year warranty against rust and corrosion.
What’s not covered? Normal wear and tear, damage from vandalism, improper installation, or custom modifications. Also, if a bench is used in a corrosive environment (like near saltwater) without the proper coating upgrade, standard coverage may not apply.
The best part? Filing a claim is straightforward. Just snap a photo of the issue, provide your proof of purchase and the bench’s model number, and our team processes replacements or parts quickly—usually within 10 business days. We want your benches to look good and stay safe for years, and that warranty is our way of backing that promise.
If you need specific specs for a project or have a unique climate consideration, just ask. We can even provide extended coverage plans for high-traffic zones.
Hope that clears things up!
