Great question—yes, our park benches do include a warranty that covers rust and rot damage on the structural parts. For metal benches, the powder-coated steel or aluminum frames are covered against perforation from rust for up to 10 years. For wooden benches, we use naturally rot-resistant hardwoods like teak or thermally modified ash, and we back the wood components against fungal rot for 5 years. Recycled plastic benches are naturally rot-proof and carry a 20-year limited warranty.
A couple of honest notes: the warranty applies to normal outdoor use. Surface rust from scratches, standing water in hardware holes, or constant coastal salt air is considered maintenance and is not covered. Similarly, small surface cracks or color changes in real wood are part of natural aging. If you keep the bench clean and touch up scratches once in a while, the warranty stays valid.
If you ever see rust bubbling through a frame or soft, crumbling wood, just send us a photo, the bench model number, and your order number. We will review it quickly and usually send a replacement part or a new bench without making you jump through hoops.
