The short answer is that our park benches are made locally in our own facility, but we don’t pretend every raw component starts out here. We source steel, lumber, and hardware from a mix of domestic and overseas suppliers, then cut, weld, assemble, finish, and inspect each bench in-house.
Why does that matter to you? For one, local assembly gives us control over quality. We see every weld, every board, and every powder-coated frame before it leaves the shop. If a batch of lumber doesn’t meet our moisture spec, we reject it before it becomes a bench. That’s much harder to do when a container of fully assembled benches is unloading from overseas.
It also means customization is actually doable. Need a 6-foot bench in a custom color, with a backrest height that matches your existing site furniture? We can adjust patterns, add ADA-compliant armrests, or modify mounting options without waiting for a factory on the other side of the world to retool.
Now, are there imported components? Yes, in some cases. Certain cast iron ends, specialty fasteners, or teak slats may come from overseas because the material quality or cost is better. But those parts are inspected, tested, and assembled here under our warranty standards.
The big benefit for customers is shorter lead times and fewer surprises. Domestic production means we can usually build and ship a standard park bench in days or a few weeks, not months. It also means if there’s ever a problem, you’re talking to the people who actually built it—not a middleman trying to track down a container.
