Once it’s installed and anchored on an existing concrete surface, a realistic total is $1,200 to $3,000 per bench. The bench itself depends on material: basic steel or aluminum benches can start around $400 to $900, mid-grade commercial benches often run $900 to $1,600, and heavy-duty recycled plastic or steel benches can cost $1,500 to $3,500. Installation and anchoring is not a flat rate. Surface mounting on sound concrete with wedge anchors or drop-in anchors usually adds $250 to $500 per bench in labor and hardware. If the bench goes in soil, pavers, or asphalt, you’ll need a concrete pad or footings, which typically adds $700 to $1,200 per bench once you include excavation, formwork, concrete, anchor bolts, and labor. For streetscape or park budgeting, I tell people to plan $1,500 to $2,500 per standard bench installed and anchored on concrete. If every bench needs a new pad or in-ground mounting, budget $2,500 to $3,500 per location. That covers a decent commercial-grade bench, anchors, labor, and a little contingency.
