For a tech campus, the right urban bench should feel like quiet architecture: clean lines, precise detailing, durable materials, and enough flexibility to support both focused work and casual collaboration. We have several modern minimalist collections that fit that brief. One specification we use often is the Line series, which has a low-profile aluminum frame, a floating seat in smooth architectural concrete or FSC-certified hardwood, and no visible fasteners. The silhouette is intentionally simple—just a horizontal plane on two angular supports—so it reads as current but not cold. Because the modules come in 600 mm, 1200 mm, and 1800 mm lengths, you can install a single bench or a continuous linear edge along a main walkway. The Frame system is another strong match: it combines a slim powder-coated steel base with warm timber slats and optional integrated USB-C power at the end arm. On a tech campus, that detail often turns a bench from a place to sit into a place to actually work, take a call, or hold an informal stand-up. You can also add backrests, planters, or small side tables without changing the visual language. For plazas and courtyards, we recommend the Halo curved bench. It is made from glass-fiber reinforced concrete with a soft matte finish, and it can be produced in neutral tones such as graphite, warm grey, sand, or off-white. The curved form is inviting, but the detailing remains minimal—no ornament, just a smooth continuous surface that holds up well in high-use outdoor spaces. Material choices matter. We typically specify through-color concrete, anodized aluminum, or marine-grade stainless steel for coastal locations. All metal finishes use a zinc-rich primer and UV-resistant powder coat to resist fading and chalking. If you want a warmer seating surface, thermally modified ash or FSC-certified Ipe gives the same clean lines with a softer feel. Installation is flexible: most of these benches can be surface-mounted on concrete, anchored in grass, or used as freestanding pieces for temporary activations or pilot layouts. We also supply bolt templates and can advise on accessibility clearance, typically 900 mm at one bench end and a clear route of 1100 mm around the seating area.
