Here’s how it works. When you order a park bench from us, you can choose whether you want professional installation included or if you prefer to receive the bench unassembled with clear instructions. For commercial orders — like parks, campuses, HOAs, and apartment communities — many customers ask us to coordinate installation because it saves time and keeps the project moving. In that case, we can either arrange installation in select service areas or connect you with a trusted local installer we’ve worked with before.
If you go the DIY route, you’ll usually need basic tools: a drill, a socket set, a level, and depending on your surface, a hammer drill for concrete anchors. Most of our park benches come with pre-drilled mounting holes and the recommended hardware included. Surface mount installation on concrete is the most common setup, but we also offer in-ground mount benches for areas where you want a more permanent installation. Either way, the instructions are straightforward, and two people can typically handle the job in under an hour.
One thing to keep in mind is site preparation. Whether you hire it out or do it yourself, you’ll want a flat, stable surface. If you’re mounting to concrete, the concrete should be cured and in good condition. If you’re installing on grass or dirt, we recommend pouring concrete pads first, which is a separate step from bench assembly. That’s often where a professional installer becomes especially helpful.
