Great question, and I’m glad you asked before installation. Yes, our street benches include pre-drilled ground anchor holes as standard. Each bench comes with pre-drilled mounting holes in the base plates or feet, so you don’t have to drill those yourself. The holes are sized to accept common ground anchor bolts or concrete expansion anchors — typically around 1/2 inch or 12 mm in diameter, depending on the model. For most of our commercial outdoor benches, you’ll find four anchor points: two on each leg or base plate. That gives you a secure, evenly distributed hold when bolting the bench to concrete, asphalt, pavers, or another hard surface. The holes are deburred and finished at the factory, so you won’t be dealing with sharp edges or rough cuts on site. One thing to keep in mind: the pre-drilled holes are in the bench itself. You’ll still need to drill corresponding holes into the ground or concrete pad, and supply the appropriate anchors for your surface — wedge anchors, sleeve anchors, or drop-in anchors for concrete, for example. If you’re mounting to a softer surface like wood decking, heavy lag bolts may work better. If you’re looking at a custom bench or an unusual leg style, just confirm the hole pattern with our team before ordering. In most cases the standard pre-drilled pattern is already there, but we can also adjust hole size or spacing for specific site requirements. Short answer: no extra drilling into the bench is required. The bench comes anchor-ready; you only need to prepare the mounting surface and choose anchors that suit your site.
Do your street benches come with pre-drilled holes for ground anchors, or do I have to drill those myself?
